We envisioned ourselves becoming one with this land.
Then, close to our forties in age, we promised ourselves that some
day this place would become our home.
Ten years after that magnificent
experience, life gave us the opportunity to make that dream a reality
and Portal del Manzano was born. Portal del Manzano includes seven
cabins with all the comforts and in complete harmony with the natural
environment of the place, where we endeavor to fulfill all the fantasies
and hopes of those who feel drawn to the overwhelming beauty of
Creation that is manifested in this unique corner of our Patagonia.
Our visitors and guests will be able to enjoy the innumerable expressions
of untouched Mother Nature and the sensation of endless enchantment
in a setting that both respects and reflects the environment.
In addition to the comforts and amenities within
each cabin, we will personally offer you all the services that will
make you feel right at home in an old natural forest environment composed
of native nires, radales, coihues, cipreses, maitenes and pines reaching
more than 30 meters in height.
Besides touring the most beautiful places in the foothills of the
Andes, you will be able to enjoy activities such as horseback riding,
trekking, hiking, water sports, and all kinds of sport fishing, mountain
biking, cycling, and snow skiing of all varieties down the most magnificent
slopes of the Andes.
Summer, fall, winter and spring, all offer their
own seasonal events. Everything is set for you to enjoy nature all
year-round, from the changing colors of the trees and plants to
the observation of the natural reproduction of wild trouts in the
rivers and lakes and the view of deer in their mating season. We
feel sure that you will be drawn to this paradise the same way we
were when we found our home in Villa La Angostura.
